Key Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Experience working with K–12 students, preferably in an elementary school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to promoting students' independence and educational participation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse K–12 caseload, focusing on helping students access and participate in their educational programs
- Assess students’ needs and create targeted, individualized intervention strategies
- Collaborate with educators and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation for each student in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide consultative services to staff and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate
