School Occupational Therapist - Minneapolis, Minnesota

The assignment involves collaborating within a specialized educational setting for 20 hours per week, spread over five days. You’ll play an integral role in helping students achieve their goals, supporting their learning and functional skills.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure with demonstrated experience in school settings
- Prior involvement with Setting IV special education populations strongly preferred
- Proven ability to complete agency onboarding and district-required background checks
- Reliable transportation for daily commute
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Current standing from previous school placements if already credentialed
- Availability to work within the district’s school schedule and adhere to assignment timelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy sessions to students receiving Setting IV special education services
- Assess and document student abilities, progress, and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with educators and families to support IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to district and agency policies
