Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota state OT license required
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school settings
- Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Comfortable working independently and problem-solving as needs arise
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' functional abilities and collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized support plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to address a range of student needs
- Document progress in accordance with school policies and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide interventions and strategies to promote student success within classroom and daily activities
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed (final assignments will be clarified at placement)
Enjoy a consistent, Monday-Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, providing stability throughout the assignment. Start and end dates are flexible, with immediate placement available and a potential for contract extension depending on evolving needs. The number of schools and specific caseload details will be discussed during the hiring process.
