Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing direct occupational therapy services to students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. You will work onsite at multiple school locations, ensuring students’ IEP goals are met and collaborating closely with general education and special education staff. This position runs from August 6, 2026, through February 12, 2027, with the possibility of extension through the end of the academic year. The caseload includes approximately 55 students across various grades and sites.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California Occupational Therapist license required
- Proven ability to participate in and lead IEP meetings
- Comfortable serving a diverse K-12 caseload
- Skilled in documentation and progress tracking; experience with SEIS is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for work with multidisciplinary teams
- Technologically proficient; experienced using digital platforms for documentation and communication
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in line with IEP goals across several school locations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement support strategies that foster student growth and access to curriculum
- Attend, participate in, and at times facilitate IEP meetings
- Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation and service records for all students served
