School Occupational Therapist - Moreno Valley, California
Make an immediate impact by providing essential occupational therapy services to students ages 3 through 22, including preschoolers through those in adult transition programs. This full-time, full school year contract role offers the opportunity to work independently across six diverse school sites, supporting a wide range of students with mild to severe needs.
Key Requirements:
- Active California Occupational Therapy license
- Previous experience working in California schools
- Proficiency in administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments to students with multiple disabilities
- Strong data analysis skills to address parent concerns and guide service recommendations
- Ability to manage a fluctuating caseload of approximately 70-80 students, with no set cap on student numbers or assessment requirements
- Comfortable developing and managing your own itinerant schedule based on the district’s changing needs
- Capable of working independently in the field, as OTAs or direct supervision are not provided
- Experience with K-12 populations, including mild to severe cases; experience with PreK and adult transition students is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish skills are desirable, but not required
