Bring your expertise as a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist to a rewarding full-time contract role supporting elementary students. You'll play a vital part in helping young learners reach their potential across several schools, making a difference every day.
This opportunity begins immediately and will continue through the end of the school year. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with educators and families while providing essential services to a caseload of approximately 80 elementary-aged students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license and certification required
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other professionals and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate students’ needs and progress through assessments, observation, and collaboration with classroom staff
- Develop and implement treatment plans aimed at enhancing student participation and success in educational activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team collaboration as needed
- Travel between assigned elementary campuses within the area
