Step into an impactful contract opportunity as an onsite Occupational Therapist supporting young learners in elementary schools. You will be working with approximately 80 students across multiple elementary school sites, with the added advantage of daily support from a full-time COTA. Your expertise and guidance will help shape accessible learning environments and foster student growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable managing an elementary school caseload
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to provide effective interventions for diverse student needs
- Ready to work onsite only, across multiple elementary schools
- Available to start ASAP and committed through the end of the school year
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create intervention plans tailored for elementary students
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain records meeting all school and regulatory requirements
- Work alongside a COTA for efficient caseload management and program development
- Monitor, assess, and adjust interventions to maximize student engagement and achievement
