Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, administrators, and parents
- Commitment to supporting students' educational and developmental goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs within the school environment
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each student
- Deliver direct therapy services to support fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills
- Document progress and communicate updates effectively with team members and families
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Provide resources and training for educational staff regarding OT strategies and supports
