This opportunity covers an Occupational Therapy maternity leave, working with an engaging caseload of approximately 45 students—including 20 consults—within specialized ID/Autism programs. Spanning from January through May, you’ll deliver individualized and consultative OT services across about 12 hours weekly (695 mpw), offering a focused schedule that supports your work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially those in ID/Autism classrooms, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEPs, goal-setting, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services across a caseload of 45 students
- Focus on supporting functional independence and participation in school routines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure students’ needs are met
- Contribute to IEP development, documentation, and progress reporting
- Adapt tasks for students across different learning and developmental needs
