Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience in school-based OT settings is highly preferred
- Proficiency in a range of OT modalities, including home health, teletherapy, and general healthcare
- Ability to tailor interventions to the unique needs of K-12 students
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience working independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in a K-12 environment
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services in classrooms, homes, or via teletherapy as needed
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student participation and success
- Maintain accurate records to track student progress and meet compliance standards
- Adapt interventions to address the diverse physical, sensory, and developmental needs of students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
- Communicate progress and recommendations effectively to all stakeholders
