Pre K Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting - Mount Vernon, WA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active OT license in the state
- Experience providing therapy in schools, ideally with students in Pre-K, Kindergarten–Grade 5, Grades 6–8, and Grades 9–12
- Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent development
- Proficiency in developing IEPs and working collaboratively with educators and families
- Ability to adapt interventions for different age groups and learning styles
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students from early childhood through high school
- Assess students’ functional abilities and craft individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Document treatment progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide intervention both individually and in group settings, as appropriate
- Consult on classroom modifications and adaptive strategies for optimal participation
