Qualifications & Experience
- Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in Tennessee
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members
- Strong problem-solving and organization skills
- Understanding of IEP development and documentation processes
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and abilities
- Develop and implement targeted interventions and therapy plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s IEP
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies
- Attend meetings and contribute expertise within the educational setting
