Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in schools preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ needs to develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Promote independence and functional skills within the classroom and school environment
