Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, valid OT license in California
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with fellow educators and families
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to the needs of each student
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students with a variety of needs
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for all services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt activities and environments to promote student independence and access to the curriculum
This position offers an hourly rate between $55 and $65, providing competitive compensation for your expertise and dedication.
