Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in pediatric therapy, specifically within educational or school-based settings
- Strong background in developing and implementing interventions for fine and gross motor skills
- Familiarity with the needs of early childhood, elementary, and middle school students (Grades Pre-K–8)
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create targeted treatment plans
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and design individualized treatment programs to address their unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in Pre-K, elementary, and middle school classrooms
- Consult with teachers and support staff to adapt environments and materials
- Track student progress, maintaining thorough records and reporting updates during team meetings
- Offer guidance to parents and staff on strategies to reinforce therapy goals in school and at home
- Support the development of essential life skills, facilitating a positive and inclusive learning environment
