Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy licensure in California
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage documentation and billing processes efficiently
- Commitment to providing in-person services
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored for school-aged children in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation for therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary school team
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and deliver evidence-based treatment plans addressing students’ functional needs
- Handle billing-related tasks as required for the educational setting
- Adapt to students’ unique needs and modify treatment approaches accordingly
- Remain up to date on best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
