School Occupational Therapist - Newbury Park, California
Step into a rewarding school-based setting supporting preschoolers as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California. This full-time, contract position serves students ages 3-5 across multiple school sites, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 17, 2026. You'll collaborate with another experienced SLP at the school and provide services to a caseload of up to 50 children. The role also involves close coordination with school Occupational Therapists, providing opportunities for collaborative care.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility
- Experience with early childhood or preschool-age populations (ages 3-5)
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 50 students across multiple sites
- Ability to work collaboratively with other SLPs and OTs
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- School-based or pediatric therapy experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with another SLP and OT professionals to support student success
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
- Communicate effectively with families and school staff
- Travel between school sites as needed within the assignment
