Exciting opportunities are available for licensed Occupational Therapists to provide impactful supervision and leadership within a dynamic school environment near the Newport, NH region. Two contract positions are open for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting the growth and effectiveness of COTAs across a well-established district.
As a supervising OT, you’ll ensure high-quality intervention, promote compliance, and collaborate closely with both district leadership and therapy staff—all within an on-site setting that supports professional engagement and interactive mentorship.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, valid Occupational Therapist license in New Hampshire.
- Demonstrated experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) within educational settings.
- Solid understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to handle documentation and collaboration requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical supervision to up to two assigned COTAs within public school buildings.
- Provide approximately 7 hours of direct supervision per COTA each month.
- Maintain meticulous, timely documentation for all supervision and administrative duties.
- Facilitate collaborative relationships with school staff to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Participate actively in the educational community and be present on-site for support and oversight.
