Location: Norristown, PA 19401
Pay: $45–$55/hour
Hours: Full-time, 37.5–40 hours/week
Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year
About the Role
ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Occupational Therapist to support a welcoming district in Norristown, PA. This position offers a consistent schedule, strong district collaboration, and the opportunity to work closely with students across elementary and secondary levels. Travelers are welcome to apply.
This role is ideal for an OT who enjoys working in a school-based setting where they can directly impact student independence, participation, and success in the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in school settings
• Conduct evaluations and support eligibility determinations
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Support sensory processing, fine motor, and functional skill development
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
Caseload Details
• Setting: Elementary and Middle School
• Caseload size: 40–60 students (approx.)
• Focus areas: sensory regulation, handwriting, motor planning, self-care skills
• School sites: 1–2 buildings
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
