Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric OT roles
- Understanding of IEP documentation, goal writing, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable adapting to rapidly changing priorities and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions for students according to their unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom accommodation and modifications
- Contribute to IEP meetings, provide updates, and communicate student progress
- Document services and maintain thorough, organized records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Guide and educate families and staff on strategies and resources to further student success
