Occupational Therapist School Setting in North Hollywood, CA

In this role, you’ll engage with a diverse caseload of at least 40 students, applying your specialized skills to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions. The position runs from August 11, 2026, to June 4, 2027, requiring a consistent onsite presence—no teletherapy or remote options are available. Your dedication will ensure students receive the in-person guidance and support needed throughout the academic year.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience working within school settings as a pediatric or school-based OT
- Ability to manage a large caseload and adapt approaches for varying age groups and needs
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, staff, and families
- Willingness to travel between multiple school locations
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct onsite therapy services to students, supporting their educational access and participation
- Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain detailed, compliant documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate progress and adjust interventions
- Offer consultative support and training to teachers and support personnel
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
