Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
- Prior experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Ability to manage a caseload of 45–60 students with varying needs and service minutes
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and specialists
- Committed to professional ethics, confidentiality, and ongoing development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement customized occupational therapy interventions within the school setting
- Conduct thorough student evaluations and collaborate on IEP development
- Engage in ongoing communication with staff, families, and administrators regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
