Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting interventions for diverse learning needs
- Effective collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Strong communication and organization abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a caseload of about 30 students across multiple schools within the district
- Assess students and develop targeted intervention strategies to promote fine/gross motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams in developing and updating IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation for evaluations, progress notes, and required reports
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure carryover of strategies and support across environments
