Occupational Therapist School Setting in Northampton, MA

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience providing occupational therapy services to school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP implementation and progress monitoring
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Collaborative approach and adaptability within multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students as specified in their IEPs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to support student progress
- Document sessions and student progress using established protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed, focusing solely on service implementation
- Adapt activities and interventions to meet individual student needs and goals
