Occupational Therapist School Setting in Novato, CA

In this full-time contract role, you’ll support a diverse caseload of middle school, high school, and transition-age students (18-22). Your expertise will be valued as you manage approximately 39 direct service students, consult with 37, and collaborate on assessments. Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in California
- Experience within educational or school-based settings
- Strong skills in teletherapy and traditional on-site therapy practices
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
- Comfort with a varied caseload across middle and high school ages
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services for students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct student assessments and contribute insights to IEP meetings
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals and intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering a consistent 40-hour workweek.
