Occupational Therapist School Setting in Olathe, KS

You’ll be working collaboratively with school staff to support the needs of students across two elementary schools. With a 37.5-hour workweek, you’ll be able to offer consistent, daily therapy services that help young learners reach their full potential.
Ideal candidates will have:
• Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials required for school-based practice
• Previous experience or a strong familiarity with elementary-age caseloads
• A commitment to evidence-based approaches tailored to the school setting
• High level of professional communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Flexibility and adaptability to manage caseload and scheduling needs
• School-based and pediatric experience strongly preferred
Your essential responsibilities will include:
• Conducting assessments to determine students’ therapy needs
• Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
• Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student goal development
• Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation
• Providing direct therapy services that foster students’ independence and success
