Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in K–12 school settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency in evaluation, treatment plans, and documentation for diverse student populations
- Adaptable mindset suited to the evolving needs of students across multiple grade levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and school staff
- Willingness to work onsite for the duration of the contract
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K–12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop targeted goals to enhance student participation and independence in the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement interventions and support strategies
- Maintain accurate records, treatment notes, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Mentor and provide guidance to school staff regarding modifications and classroom strategies
