Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the relevant state
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and adaptive functioning
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to maximize student success and ensure continuity of care
- Provide guidance on strategies, equipment, and classroom accommodations to facilitate optimal student performance
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as required
