Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Illinois
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Comfort with short-term assignments and adaptability to varying needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented approach with the enthusiasm to collaborate on educational plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Assess, develop, and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Document progress and maintain thorough records for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and support goal setting for student success
- Offer consultative recommendations to classroom teachers for accommodations and modifications
