Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license in California (or eligibility by start date)
- Prior school-based experience or strong pediatric background preferred
- Familiarity with Siras or AbleSpace IEP systems is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills to effectively navigate multiple school sites
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a caseload of 35-40 K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver OT services for students, implementing individualized treatment strategies
- Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation using Siras/AbleSpace platforms
- Travel between 2-3 school locations as assigned
- Consult with teachers and families on strategies for classroom and home support
- Advocate for student inclusion and participate in ongoing professional development
