Occupational Therapist School Setting in Palo Alto, CA

Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapy License required
- Experience in school-based OT settings preferred
- Expertise in home health and healthcare-related OT a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a mixed schedule of on-site and remote sessions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, fostering engagement and progress on individualized plans
- Conduct in-person therapy eight hours per day, two days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays)
- Utilize four additional hours per week for remote responsibilities such as documentation, collaboration with educational staff, and individualized planning
- Assess student needs and set measurable goals in partnership with other professionals and families
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough records, and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and compliance measures within a school setting
This part-time contract role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, beginning ASAP through June 2027. Compensation ranges from $45 to $65 per hour, based on experience.
