Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school-based OT role preferred
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations PreK-12
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Willingness to travel daily between school sites within the region (mileage reimbursed)
- Flexibility and adaptability to serve multiple school communities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT services to support students' educational goals
- Conduct assessments and develop student-centered intervention plans
- Document services and progress according to district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families
- Contribute expertise toward creating functional, accessible learning environments in schools
- Support students in developing skills for independence, participation, and academic achievement
