Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
- Experience working in school-based environments (K-12) is highly valued
- Versatility across OT settings—school, teletherapy, home health, and general healthcare
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in assessing student needs and developing customized therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students to improve fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional academic skills
- Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings as a contributing team member
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into the classroom and home environments
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, progress reports, and compliance records
- Provide direct and consultative OT services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms, as needed
- Empower students to reach their maximum potential through evidence-based interventions and creative approaches
