Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR or equivalent)
- Recent experience working in a school setting with elementary, middle, or high school students is highly valued
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs
- Knowledge of current best practices in school-based occupational therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and set measurable goals
- Support student participation in classroom activities, self-care, and social interactions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies within educational plans
