You’ll collaborate with educators and families while working a consistent 37-40 hour week, serving a diverse range of abilities at several potential school sites in the region.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant certification and credentials to practice in educational settings
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes, including evaluation, development, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and consultation abilities to collaborate successfully with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Flexible and adaptive to working with students of varying needs and across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services, including screenings, evaluations, direct interventions, and consultative support
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed records, session notes, and compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Travel between various school sites as required by the district
