Occupational Therapist School Setting in Patrick, SC

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing school-based occupational therapy services for students ranging from 3K through 12th grade. This full-time position (37–40 hours per week) spans the academic year from July 22, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and covers diverse school sites across several attendance areas. You’ll engage with a broad range of abilities, making a meaningful impact as you support students’ growth and functional independence throughout their educational journey.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for school-based practice
- Prior experience in pediatric or school settings strongly preferred
- Thorough understanding of IEP processes and the ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse caseload spanning early childhood to high school
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered service delivery
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Deliver direct OT services across multiple school sites as assigned
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to maximize student participation and success
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in line with school and legal guidelines
- Contribute to RTI/MTSS teamwork and participate in meetings as required
