Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Prior experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate progress and outcomes for students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs related to education
- Develop, implement, and update individualized intervention plans in cooperation with IEP teams
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services aligned with students’ academic and developmental goals
- Engage in progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in team meetings, provide training for staff, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
