Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as an OT or COTA.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but passionate new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Compassion and adaptability when working with students from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their participation in daily school activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support educational goals.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations.
- Offer consultative support to staff to foster an inclusive and accessible classroom environment.
