Bring your passion for supporting students to a contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a dynamic environment serving TK–12th grade learners. In this role, you’ll provide in-person occupational therapy services at multiple campuses, ensuring students receive comprehensive support aligned with their Individualized Education Plans. The assignment begins August 6, 2026, and extends through February 12, 2027, with the possibility of continuing through the entire academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current California Occupational Therapist license
- Strong experience both participating in and leading IEP meetings
- Familiarity with SEIS or similar special education documentation platforms preferred
- Proficient in using digital platforms and maintaining electronic records
- Previous experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams in a school setting
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students across multiple sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional occupational therapy services onsite, supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to optimize student participation and functional skill development
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions in compliance with IEP goals
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt strategies for individual student needs and contribute insights for effective learning environments
