Qualifications:
- Hold a current state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Prior pediatric experience, particularly within a school-based environment, is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ fine motor and sensory processing needs
- Develop customized intervention plans that support educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to children, individually and in groups
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
- Maintain detailed records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and special education
