Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, students, and families
- Ability to create and adapt treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, focusing on functional skills, sensory integration, and academic participation
- Develop IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and track student progress toward outcomes
- Deliver direct therapy, consultations, and classroom support services
- Equip teachers and parents with strategies and resources to maximize students’ participation at school
- Maintain detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines
- Participate in professional development to stay current on the latest best practices in pediatric OT
