Travel Occupational Therapist School Setting in Phoenix, AZ

Your placement will span two schools in the Phoenix area, where you'll serve students from kindergarten through 8th grade—primarily those with Autism, developmental delays, and Down syndrome. There’s no supervision of COTAs, letting you focus on impactful direct care. You’ll work 32.5 hours per week on a school-based schedule, with availability for occasional meetings before or after school as needed. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through the end of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona OT license
- AZ Fingerprint Card obtained prior to start
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Comfortable with evaluations for students K-8, especially those with Autism and developmental disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver OT services for K-8 students
- Collaborate with educational teams in two schools
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
- Communicate effectively with staff and families
