Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in California
- School-based OT experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized support for students
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs, develop intervention plans, and provide direct therapy
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed
- Facilitate skill-building in areas such as fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help
