Qualifications:
- Active Florida Occupational Therapy license
- Experience with pediatric populations in education, healthcare, or home health settings
- Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions in both group and individual formats
- Comfortable working independently onsite with limited supervision
- Adaptable to working across K-12 caseloads, supporting diverse needs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students' functional capabilities within the school environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate strategies into daily classroom routines
- Monitor progress and update goals as needed, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Provide direct OT services as well as education and resources for staff and parents
- Maintain accurate records and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of student care
