This contract position offers full-time hours (35 per week) supporting K-12 students across two open roles. Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license (please provide a screenshot with your application)
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings with children K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy goals and interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services and interventions to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ functional skills and needs
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to develop tailored therapy plans
- Maintain clear documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications
- Support district initiatives for inclusive and accessible learning environments
