Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan (required)
- Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs
- Evaluate and assess student functional abilities and barriers to academic participation
- Develop and deliver individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Consult with faculty and participate in IEP meetings as part of the educational team
