Key Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire occupational therapist license required
- Background in school-based environments preferred (elementary, middle, and/or high school)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create and adapt individualized therapy plans
- Approachable, compassionate, and flexible when working with students of varying abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine occupational therapy needs for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group formats as outlined in student IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure coordinated support and measurable progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for accommodations and modifications to enhance student success
