The assignment will run from as soon as possible through the end of the current school year, with renewal potential.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure required
- Minimum of two years of experience working with school-age populations preferred
- Must possess an active Medicaid provider number
- Must have a current CAQH profile
- Credentialed with additional insurance companies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in educational settings highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students within the assigned caseload
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to develop and implement IEPs and student support plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insight on student needs
- Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
