Occupational Therapist School Setting in Quincy, MA
Step into a rewarding contract position providing essential occupational therapy services in a dynamic school setting. This opportunity, beginning October 26, 2026, and running through March 30, 2027, is designed for dedicated professionals passionate about making a difference in students’ lives. You’ll take on a full-time schedule—32 hours per week, spread across four days with flexible arrangements possible—serving a diverse K-12 caseload.
You will play a key role onsite, supporting students’ growth and independence through evaluations, direct therapy, and thorough progress reporting. Collaboration and communication will be essential as you work alongside educators and families to promote student success.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active and current Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (must provide proof of licensure at application)
- Solid, recent experience working as an OT in a school-based environment
- Ability to conduct initial assessments, provide direct services, and complete timely progress evaluations
- Experience with K-12 students and a variety of learning needs
- CORI background check and fingerprint clearance required prior to start
- Comfort and professionalism in Zoom interview format
- Commitment to onsite service delivery only; remote work not available
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and formulate individualized goals
- Maintain accurate and timely progress reports for assigned students
- Partner with faculty and parents to support both educational and therapeutic outcomes
