School Occupational Therapist | Quincy, Massachusetts

The role is based at an elementary school, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff to help students meet their developmental, academic, and social goals.
Desired Background and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts.
- School-based OT experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to effectively support K-5 students across diverse needs.
- Comfortable performing assessments, creating IEPs, and delivering both individual and group therapy.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in a busy, supportive elementary school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services and interventions for elementary-aged students according to their IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Document progress and attend IEP meetings as required.
- Support students in developing fine motor, self-care, sensory processing, and functional skills suited for the classroom setting.
- Maintain accurate and timely records consistent with school and professional standards.
