Starting in November 2026 and extending through February 2027, you’ll work full-time, providing essential therapy services to a diverse caseload of students. Your expertise will empower children to reach their fullest potential in both academic and functional skills, fostering positive growth throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license and certification required
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for K-5 students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support holistic development
- Provide intervention and consultation for two schools, managing an organized caseload
